Mid-Year Senior Reflection
Traveling to Ireland, Scotland and Germany for my 4th quarter Walkabout. In Ireland I will be able to attend Trinity College, which is 400 years old(!). At Trinity there is an ancient library consisting of an AD 800 gospel and thousands of other manuscripts and books that are officially extinct. I can't wait to step into Trinities Old Library and see these magnificently preserved works of art.
Hopefully I will be able to travel to Germany and Scotland. In Germany I might stay with Hannah Blumquist (another senior) at her ant's husbands vineyard. Most likely I will only be there for a couple of days.
In Scotland I will trace my genealogy and visit my clans (MacNab) museum, castle and land.
4. In what ways will you be taking significant risk during Walkabout?
Traveling across the sea.
5.What support would you like to have during your Walkabouts, from school, home, friends, a mentor, etc?
To be positive about my adventures. I am mostly going to rely on myself for my Walkabout.
6. For my narrative I think that I deserve an EE because I have turned in my homework on time and have presented efficiently.
7. At the workplace I have completed projects, accepted constructive criticism, and assisted Carol Landis (my mentor).

My 4th quarter Walkabout I will be traveling to Dublin, Ireland. There I will be staying with the O'Mathuna family for 5 to 6 weeks. A retired professor, Harry Long, will be taking me to the neolithic passage tombs. I will possibly be working with Linzi Simpson at a archaeology firm named Margaret & Gowan Co. Lastly I will be attending Trinity College and taking European history classes.
